Métodos de Ensino
The unit integrates classroom sessions, using exposition, demonstration and experimental methods, using audiovisual aids, analysis and preparation of cases and practical exercises, presentations and discussions by students, individually and in groups.
In continuous assessment, students undertake a written individual test (Test) and group work (GW), with delivery of a written report, subject to presentation and discussion.
Final Score = 0,60 (Test) + 0,40 (WG)
If Test or Group Work is less than 10 values, the student must perform the final evaluation (Appeal)
Appeal evaluation is an individual written exam. -

Demonstração de conteúdos
In the current context of global markets, volatile and highly competitive, the effective and efficient management of logistics processes enables service differentiation, and companies that achieve logistics excellence guarantee alignment of business strategy with the main processes, which are evaluated based on pre-defined performance objectives, requiring specific metrics that allow a proper assessment of logistics performance, such as effectiveness, efficiency, quality, productivity, profitability, among others. The implementation of performance metrics is a key factor in optimizing the supply chain, effectiveness of which determines the profitability and survival of businesses. Cost reduction, revenue growth and improved shareholder value are just some of the reasons for the importance of assessing logistics performance.
