Fundamentals of Well Engineering
-
Recommended Prior Knowledge
-
-
Objectives
Study the activities related to well drilling that allows the communication between the surface and the reservoir. It is intendend that students acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills on wells drilling, completion and operation procedures of wells.
-
Teaching Methods
In the theoretical lectures subjects are exposed in slides by using tools such as powerpoint. Practical lessons emphasis is placed on solving individual problems. The analysis of results seeks to stimulate
critical thinking, the ability to analyze similar situations and getting valuable experience. Moodle interface provides files with subjects. -
