Degree objectives

This course aims to prepare professionals capable of: - analyzing projects, specifications, and work plans of a work; - collaborate in the preparation and compatibility of projects of all specialties; - Carry out drawings for the execution of the work, do BIM modeling and monitor the execution of the work.

NOTE: This course is financed by the Casais Group, which guarantees: payment of tuition fees, computer, internship and integration into the company for 2 years.

Learning objectives and skills to be developed

The Higher Professional Technical Course in Advanced Construction Technologies is aimed at the emerging requirements for the qualification of human resources in support of the activities of the Civil Construction and Public Works sector, namely in the field of BIM technology. The Higher Professional Technical Course in Advanced Construction Technologies aims to contribute to the training of specialized middle managers, namely in the Lisbon and Setúbal Peninsula region, in order to ensure an improvement in the quality of construction and the technical competence of companies in the sector.

Recognition of prior learning

Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

Admission requirements

Hold a secondary education qualification or equivalent, which includes the subject of Mathematics; hold the M23 exams for access to the course; or hold a technological specialisation diploma, a higher vocational technical diploma or a higher education degree.
